Plausible stats export to dashboard

Upload the file you already download from Plausible Analytics. Every Number reads it with no setup, picks a screen, and puts a receipt on every number.

The question behind this file

How did visitors, pageviews and bounce rate trend week over week, and which sources drove the change?

What you get

This period vs last

This period next to the last one.

date dates each row, so it puts this period next to the last one and shows visitors.

You can switch it to Key numbers under “How it's read”.

Click any number for its receipt: the rule, the rows it used, and the rows it left out.

Getting the file

  1. Download it from Plausible Analytics

In your Plausible dashboard, set the date range and filters, open the options menu (⋮) on the top chart, and click Export stats. You get a ZIP of CSV files, so unzip it and upload visitors.csv. Dashboard exports need an active trial or subscription.

  2. Know what a row is

One row is one time bucket of the dashboard interval (usually a day) for the site or filtered segment.

  3. Upload it as it is

No cleanup first. Title rows, totals rows and repeated headers are skipped and listed in each receipt.

How we know

In our reading test (updated Oct 28, 2026), this file got This period vs last, the screen that answers the question above. The column names are Plausible Analytics's; the rows were generated to fit them, since we don't have your file. Your export may have more or fewer columns, and Every Number shows how it read each one before you build.
