Shopify Payments payout transactions export to dashboard

Upload the file you already download from Shopify Payments. Every Number reads it with no setup, picks a screen, and puts a receipt on every number.

The question behind this file

What did each payout contain, and how much went to fees, refunds and adjustments?

What you get

Money over time

Money adding up through the month.

Amount is money and Transaction Date dates each transaction, so it adds up the money through the period.

You can switch it to This period vs last, Breakdown, Key numbers under “How it's read”.

Click any number for its receipt: the rule, the rows it used, and the rows it left out.

Getting the file

  1. Download it from Shopify Payments

In Shopify admin, go to Finance > Payouts, click View transactions, then click Export. Select All items or Items by date, select a CSV file type, and click Export items. The CSV is emailed to you and the store owner.

  2. Know what a row is

One row is one balance transaction included in (or pending for) a payout.

  3. Upload it as it is

No cleanup first. Title rows, totals rows and repeated headers are skipped and listed in each receipt.

How we know

In our reading test (updated Oct 28, 2026), this file got Money over time, the screen that answers the question above. The column names are Shopify Payments's; the rows were generated to fit them, since we don't have your file. Your export may have more or fewer columns, and Every Number shows how it read each one before you build.
