Shortcut stories export to dashboard

Upload the file you already download from Shortcut. Every Number reads it with no setup, picks a screen, and puts a receipt on every number.

The question behind this file

How many stories did each team complete per iteration, and which epics are behind their due dates?

What you get

What's late

Items past their due date, latest first.

due_date marks when each story is due, and an empty completed_at shows what's still open, so it leads with what's late.

You can switch it to Pipeline, Breakdown, This period vs last, Key numbers under “How it's read”.

Click any number for its receipt: the rule, the rows it used, and the rows it left out.

Getting the file

  1. Download it from Shortcut

In Shortcut, open the Stories Table of an Epic, Iteration or Label and click Export as CSV at the top right. To export every Story in a Workspace, use the option on your Organization and Workspace dashboard.

    Shortcut's guide

  2. Know what a row is

One row is one story. Epic and objective fields repeated on each story.

  3. Upload it as it is

No cleanup first. Title rows, totals rows and repeated headers are skipped and listed in each receipt.

How we know

In our reading test (updated Oct 28, 2026), this file got What's late, the screen that answers the question above. The column names are Shortcut's; the rows were generated to fit them, since we don't have your file. Your export may have more or fewer columns, and Every Number shows how it read each one before you build.
